Apartment in Champoluc

THE PROJECT

Champoluc (AO)

The design creates a unified domestic setting through timber, which covers walls and ceilings and continues into the furnishings. These continuous surfaces embrace the rooms, while stone inserts and darker elements introduce material contrasts and focal points.

Living, dining and kitchen areas share a single, articulated space, where furnishings and finishes distinguish functions without fragmenting the interior. The openings maintain a direct relationship with the Alpine landscape, bringing the intimate scale of the rooms into dialogue with the depth of the outdoors. The project interprets mountain living through materials, proportions and details expressed in a contemporary language.
