Grand Hotel Victoria

A new vision of hospitality.

The Grand Hotel Victoria in Menaggio brings the character of historic architecture into dialogue with a contemporary approach to hospitality. The proportions of the rooms, decorative plasterwork and cornices establish the spaces’ expressive framework, complemented by restrained furnishings, materials and new lighting elements.

The shared spaces alternate decorated interiors with transparent volumes overlooking the garden. This sequence creates a gradual transition between the hotel, the dining areas and the outdoor pool. In the wellness spaces, water, surfaces and light create a more intimate atmosphere. The project finds its coherence in the relationship between these different scales: the formality of the shared spaces and the intimacy of places designed for relaxation.
